Sharehouse ("the App") is developed by Luke Littlefield ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is stored and shared, and your choices regarding that information.
Sharehouse helps housemates manage chores, bills, shopping, payments, and shared household information together. Household data is stored in the cloud and synced in real time between the housemates in the same household, so that everyone in a house can see up-to-date chores, bills, and other shared information. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
When you use Sharehouse, you may choose to enter the following types of information:
Sharehouse uses Supabase, a third-party cloud database and storage provider, to store household data and keep it synced between the housemates in your household. When you join a household using an invite code, the information listed above becomes visible to the other housemates in that same household, which is how the App helps you coordinate chores, bills, and shared information together.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for marketing purposes. Supabase acts as our data processor and stores this information on our behalf; you can read more about how Supabase handles data at supabase.com/privacy.
Sharehouse does not currently have a personal login system (such as a username and password). Instead, housemates join a household using a shared invite code. Because of this, anyone with access to a household's invite code could join that household and see its information — keep your invite code private and share it only with people you live with.
Sharehouse may request the following permissions from your device, only at the moment you choose to use a related feature:
You can decline any permission request; the App will continue to function, though the related feature may be unavailable.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Information you enter is shared only with the other members of your household, as described above, and is stored with our cloud service provider, Supabase, in order to make that sharing possible.
Household data is retained in our cloud database for as long as your household remains active. You can edit or delete individual entries (chores, bills, housemates, etc.) at any time within the App. To request full deletion of your household's data, contact us using the details below.
Sharehouse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
